Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist (Aerospace Industry)

Pay range: $25-30 p/h
Our aerospace client is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support their fast-paced finance team. This role is responsible for processing mid- to high-volume operating and manufacturing invoices, ensuring accurate weekly payment runs, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. Lunch and snacks provided!!

Key Responsibilities

• Process operating and manufacturing invoices within the company's ERP system.
• Execute weekly check runs including ACH, wire transfers, and live checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.Continue
• Review weekly A/P aging reports to identify missed or upcoming payments.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance within a mid- to high-volume AP workflow.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and finance as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience using a robust ERP system (beyond QuickBooks).
• Exceptional attention to detail with a flexible, adaptable mindset.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and perform VLOOKUPs.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics - preferred
